Thare are naturally two types of Thoken users.

• Consumer or payer:

  A consumer or customer or payer who uses Thoken to make any type of payments for information, goods, services, or fulfilling any other legal and lawful purposes.

• Merchant or Provider:

  A merchant, producer or provider who, through its websites, mobile apps, stores or any type of legal platforms, provides any type of legitimate information, goods, and services to consumers in exchange for monetary interests.

Monthly Statements

Monthly statements are available on the platform. Users can download a PDF file, an csv file, and email the files to their own email addresses.

Refunds from Merchant

You may ask the merchant to send a refund directly to you.  It will be automatically added to your Thoken fund if otherwise a refund from a merchant to you is through thoken.io. You can then take out the refund from Thoken.io or use it as additional thoken funds at your will.

Allow Currency Conversion

In case you do not have a needed currency to make a payment, if you allow currency conversion, thoken.io will automatically purchase the currency using the thoken funds you have in your primary currency , then in USD, EUR, or CNY; otherwise, you cannot make the payment even if you have enough funds in other currencies.

Thoken Transaction Fees

Thoken.io charges fees from providers or merchants. Unless in certain special cases, thoken.io does not charge fees from consumers.

Beside certain onboarding fees that might be charged by involving payment gateways, thoken.io does not charges any fees from a provider or merchant until it has got sales revenue through thoken.io. Namely, Thoken.io charges fees from merchants solely based on sales revenue and effective transaction.
